Term 2 Week 7 News

I hope you all had a lovely long Queens Birthday Weekend. We have lots to cram in to the short week and will be busy building up to Learning Conferences.

Learning Conferences are next week. On Tuesday and Wednesday school will be closing early at 1 o’clock. In previous years this change has caused some confusion for the children so I would prefer it if you could collect your children from the classroom. If this is not convenient please can you let me know where they will be going and who will be meeting them so I can send them in the right direction.
On Thursday 14th June school closes at normal time.
Conferences are 20 minutes long and your children will be telling you all about their learning.

Lucky Book Club If you would like to order a book please send your money and order in by Friday June 8th. Cheques to be made payable to Havelock North Primary School.

Grant Hasting is here on Friday teaching us some more sporting skills.

Project Homework As we are very busy with learning conferences and there is a short week this week the letter ‘E’ homework will be shared on Friday 15th June. This gives you an extra week to create something stunning!!!

Lost Property Apparently the lost property is overflowing outside the hall, so if you are missing an item of clothing or a lunch box there is a good chance that it will be there.

School Photos are now being held on June 21st. Envelopes for orders will be coming home shortly. We can arrange for your children to have a family photo instead of individual photos as well as the class photo.

Breaking News just in from Hadley!
This Sunday, The McDougall family and Harvey are going to be on WHAT NOW.  It is being filmed in Hastings and we have been asked to challenge another local family.  That family is The Field Family whos three boys all attend Te Mata School.  If you watch WHAT NOW, how cool would it be too actually know someone from your own class.

From Cooper, Hadley and Harvey.

Hope you have a lovely week. Any problems, comments or queries do let me know and I will get back to you as quickly as I can.
Kind Regards,
Karen Duligall
